How accurate is the car loan calculator?
It gives you a good estimate based on the loan amount, rate, term and balloon you enter. It doesn’t include fees and charges, and your actual rate depends on your circumstances and the lender. For real numbers, book a free call and we’ll find your options
What is a balloon payment?
A balloon is a lump sum you pay at the end of the loan. It lowers your regular repayments, but you’ll need to pay, refinance or sell the car to cover it when the loan ends.
Should I choose weekly, fortnightly or monthly repayments?
Many people match repayments to their pay cycle, which can make budgeting easier. Paying more often can also reduce the interest you pay over the loan, depending on the lender.
Will using the calculator affect my credit score?
No. The calculator doesn’t ask for personal details or run a credit check, so you can try as many scenarios as you like.
